Just use a drill with sanding wheel attachment. I know he says not to use circular motions but that is only because he is using super aggressive sand paper and it will look like a swirly shit mess. If you use a drill you can start aggressive and finish with a fine paper. Use a brush\wipe on clear to avoid an overspray mess all over the place as well. Im sure this kit works, but looks like a PITA mess compared to others I have very successfully used with a drill and had both lights done in under 10 min.
